A trip to the cabin

We had a little family trip to the cabin...Klem went along too! Kathryn had her first smores making experience. She really wanted to eat the smores, but I wouldn't let her. Maybe next year?

"Cousin Isaak... my mom told me about the time that you and Aunt Kris and her went to the cabin and made smores using a lighter! That is funny!"

Can I join you?

"HMMM...I wonder if Klemintine would mind me sharing her kennel? This looks interesting!"

Tom and I do not think Klemintine is to keen on the idea of Kathryn joining her.....Klem already shares her toys with Kathryn...unwillingly we think...the kennel would be just too much.

Minnehaha Falls

Kathryn had her first trip to Minnehaha Falls last week. We had a picnic in the park and then looked at the falls. Kathryn LOVES water!

Swimming Lessons

Yesterday Kathryn started swimming lessons. She loved the water;especially splashing her dad. Kathryn learned how to splash (well, that one is not really new for her!), float on her back(with a little assistance from dad) and how to do the Hokey Pokey in the water! She managed to taste the water as well. She was not really sure about the new taste. It really did not taste like her green beans or peaches.

OOPS

"Well, I discovered mommy and dadddy's wine rack the other day. Luckily, I only pulled down non-alcoholic sparkling cider! Daddy kept saying, "no, you are too young!".

Daddy and Mommy say... "Kathryn got caught....she thought she was being sneaky...but Klem got her!"

Can I eat now?

"Dinner time is ALWAYS fun...but a challenge for me. You see, I really like my cereal and fruits and vegies, and my mom and dad never seem to get it to my mouth fast enough. I ALWAYS wait patiently while they take pictures of me eating. I am not sure what the deal is? And, why everyone laughs at me when I am eating?! As you can see, I even have my mouth open and waiting for my dinner."
