February Snow Storm

Kathryn enjoyed the latest snow storm....I think she is torn between loving the snow...and wanting spring to be here...notice her "Easter Bonnet" that needs to be worn these days!!!

Dinner Time

" Uncle Kaare and Uncle Kyle.... you would be proud.... I ate 2 WHOLE sloppy joes tonight. Yes, that is right, 2 of them...and Klem did not get any. I guess I was hungry!"

A trip to the History Center

We went to the History Center today.... and Kathryn enjoyed learning some MN history.


"Grandpa, is this how you drove that big UPS truck? I think I get the hang of it...how am I doing?"

Valentines Weekend!

Kathryn enjoyed Valentines Weekend....she made heart cakes for Aunt Ellen, wore her new jammies that Grandma made and spent time with Klem. Kathryn had 2 dates for Valentine's...A daddy-daughter date for lunch and a dinner date with Aunt Ellen. Lucky Girl!

Early Valentine's Day!

"Grandpa and Grandma came over to have an early Valentine's dinner.... we enjoyed a nice evening together. Grandpa even read me my favorite book, 'Go Dog Go'."

Making Cookies for Friends

Kathryn made Valentine cookies for her friends Madeleine and Katherine who came over last night..... Kathryn and Katherine enjoyed time playing dress up.

Band-Aid Obsession

Kathryn loves band-aids so much that when one of us needs one, we all need one! Needless to say, we have gone through a lot of band-aids lately.

"Pictures"

Kathryn's latest leisure activity is looking at pictures with us...she loves to sit with the lab top and view pictures of her, our family and friends.

A bummer of a rash......

"I have had a rash for a couple of weeks now. On Monday I saw 4 doctors....including two dermatologists. My favorite doctor though is Dr. Sheely! My mom has been pretty calm through all the doctors visits, the unknowns and the possiblity that I may need a skin biopsy. I am proud of her...she did have a break down the other night, but that is to be expected. I feel great though and the rash is not contagious... more annoying than anything."

Saturday at the Zoo

We ended up taking Kathryn to urgent care on Saturday morning.... she has a rash, but the doctors are uncertain about what it is. So, the hw put her on an antibiotic.... and gave us the "OK" to take a trip to the zoo..... Kathryn enjoyed time in the tropics trail,Minnesota trail, and Discovery Bay.
