Slippers?

Rather than putting on slippers with her pajamas, Kathryn wanted to wear her new tennis shoes. Eventually she took them off; in time for bed!

Spring Break ??!!

This is what the first day of spring break looked like for Tom and I today.....it snowed and snowed and is still snowing as I am putting this on the blog. We were going to take Kathryn to the zoo today...but instead went to the mall! We had a great day!

So Tired...

After a long day of celebrating Easter....Kathryn feel asleep in the car on the way home. She got upset with me when I tried to wake her up for dinner and her bath.

Decorating Easter Eggs

We decorated Easter Eggs Saturday night. Kathryn loved it! She went right for the dye...and then decided to throw the egg on the floor. She has quite the aim. The egg cracked and was ready for egg salad! Afterwards, Kathryn and Tom decided to play with the stickers. What do you think? A bad case of the the Easter Measles?

"Uncle Kaare, what do you think? They look good on you, but I am not sure about me? I think they are too big! Maybe in a few years they will fit."

Kathyrn has been very sick this past month. She has been to the ER three times, the clinic several times, and has been poked and proded all month. (She does not like the band aids after the nurses have taken her blood!) She has been a very brave little girl through it all. We thank all of you for your prayers, support, love and encouragement during this time. Kathryn has a nasty virus which has caused a lot of colds, fevers and a seizure. We are still waiting for one test result to see if there is bacterial infection. However, she is on an antibiotic, just in case. The Lord has been good and continues to fill us with his love and grace and comfort and peace.

Thank you again...our family and friends!

Recovering......

Kathryn was recovering from her trip to the ER the next day. Grandma and Grandpa came over to spend time with her. They enjoyed some "Kathryn Time" and some laughs and smiles. Kathryn is feeling much better, but still a little under the weather.

Seizure

I really scared my mom and dad today with a seizure. We are in the hospital now and I am feeling much better. They poked and prodded me a lot, but now I get to eat some crackers and cookies. Not a bad trade off in the long run I guess . . .

How about some Algebra II, Dad??

Dr. Seuss Day!

Today I celebrated Dr. Seuss' Birthday. I enjoyed some Blueberry Brumble ( referenced from the Cat in the Hat songbook) and some Cats Mac and Cheese (from the Cat in the Hat returns). I enjoyed the mac and cheese on my Green Eggs and Hams dishes. It was a good day. I even got a gift from my mom and dad. Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss. Thanks for making reading fun! We have been reading your books all week!
