Donuts Daddy!

"Mommy bought me donuts yesterday when WE went grocery shopping. (don't worry...mommy was under budget, which means more money for fun stuff!!!) I got to pick them out myself...and of course I picked out the ones with sprinkles! I miss you daddy!"

Enjoying the start of spring break!

Tom is in Costa Rica for 10 days...so it is the girls at home. Kathryn and I decided to celebrate the start of spring break.....This really is not what it looks like....

Como Zoo

We enjoyed a trip to Como Zoo today with Kyle and Ellen. The conservatory had their spring flower show start today, so we enjoyed the first scents of spring. Kathryn was more interested in the fish pond. Kathryn and Uncle Kyle got hold of the camera...so we ended up with a nice photo of Kyle picking his nose.

Dancin' in the Puddles....

We had a wonderful family weekend..... quality time together with Kathryn.... the 4 of us enjoyed a walk today...and when we got home, Kathryn decided to dance....in the puddles. I could not get her to come in and by the time I did, her boots and rights were soaked....Klem was just not sure what to make of the dancing.....

A Typical Tuesday Evening?!?!? Kind of....

Kathryn and I got home on Tuesday.... and she NEEDED to shovel the snow. Then, she made me me pizza for dinner...literally, this pizza was all her doing,except browning the sausage. Then, while cleaning up, she lost a magnet under the refrigerator and had to find it, so she went and found the flashlight and started looking for it. Of course, she found it.

Dunkin Donuts

Tom and Kathryn enjoyed dunking their donuts in milk this morning. As you can see, Klemintine was waiting for her share of the donut...no such luck.

Reading Time!

We were at our friends Allen and Holly's the other night...and Kathryn's friend Madeleine was reading to her.... they both enjoyed story time! And, of course, it was one of Kathryn's favorite books...Go Dog Go!

And.... Kathryn is in to flossing her teeth..we try to make sure she has floss. The other day I caught her flossing her teeth with a piece of hair. YUCK!

Celebrating the Great Dr. Seuss

In honor of Dr. Seuss...Kathryn held a birthday party for him on Sunday. We had Daisy Head Maysie Burgers, Cat's Mac and Cheese, Silly Sammy Slick Sodas and Cat in the Hat Tub Cake. We enjoyed some gift opening and a reading of The Sneetches by Tom. Kathryn wants to remind everyone to Read, Read, Read......
