Apple Day!

Once a month we have a theme day at our house...September happened to be "Apple Day". So....we took a trip to the apple orchard with mom. Kathryn had a great time picking apples! Emily enjoyed her bottle and sitting with Grandma! I enjoyed some sun....finally! And, mom, hopefully enjoyed it all!!!

We enjoyed a bonfire the other night when mom and dad were over. It was cold out...and I was FREEZING, so I bundled up Emily like it was winter! She really is in there...with all those layers on. (I know what my siblings are thinking, by the way....Kim is just like Bestemor!) We enjoyed the fire, the only thing missing was smores!

Soccer Time

Kathryn started soccer this week. She loved it until they were divided into teams for a scrimmage. Kathryn did not like that the other team was not sharing the soccer ball and thought that the other kids should get a time out when they got home!

Another zoo trip!

Another great day at the MN Zoo! Kathryn enjoyed showing Grandpa and Grandma all of her favorite animals at the zoo! Her favorite spot today was the bears...watching them take a bath! Emily slept pretty much the entire time! But, managed a few waking moments during lunch!

Kathryn's 1st day of School

Kathryn started her 2nd year of preschool this fall! She already loves it! These pictures were taken before we left for school. She was SO EXCITED to go that she did not really want her picture taken! All she wanted to do was go!

Outing with Grandpa

The girls and I took Grandpa to the MN zoo the other day...we had a great time, despite the rain that came down! Thanks for coming with us Grandpa! (and Dad!)
