Time for Cereal

Today I started eating rice cereal. It is a lot different than eating formula, I have to do work to swallow this stuff. Mommy took this picture of me with a little bit stuck to my lower lip. She has no appreciation for how difficult this was for me. I guess I brought this upon myself as I have been difficult to feed of late. That bottle is getting old, and it turns out my foot has no nutritional value (at least that is what daddy tells me, but between you and me I don't believe him!).

A Rohling Baby gathers no moss

On April 22, 2007 I finally learned how to roll over. I had been working at it for a long time, but I never quite got the hang of it. Since I have learned I have been looking for opportunities to practice so that I can show off my new trick as often as possible. Here I am showing it off to cousin Amy and her friend at Great-Grandma's house. Mommy and daddy say that I have to learn how to roll back over because I don't like it on my stomach too much (it's true, I cry a lot on my tummy), but isn't that what they are there for? I mean, really, they don't have anything better to do that take care of me anyway.

I keep putting my foot in my mouth

Mommy tells me that I may end up doing figuratively what I am now doing literally; putting my foot in my mouth. I hope that in the future I don't do so with the frequency that I do so now. I probably wouldn't have many friends if that was the case! This is currently one of my preferred activities, and daddy complains that it makes changing my diapers hard because I simply won't let go of my feet! But let's face it, next to a bottle, one's own feet are the best thing to put in one's mouth.

Grandpa's 60th Birthday!

Today Grandpa turned 60. I guess that's old, I can't count that high yet! Everyone came over and ate dinner, cake, and watched grandpa open gifts. Grandpa got some kind of wierd rack, I think it is for hanging hats or something. Also he got as sticker (mommy likes stickers, she must think other people like them too to give them as gifts), a couple of shirts, and some golf spikes he is not supposed to wear around the house or else grandma will get mad at him. It was a great birthday party, the only thing that was missing was my aunt Kris, uncle Andy, and my cousins. Oh well, the day will come when we can all party together as a family as much as we want.

Spring Pose

Kathryn had her three 1/2 month pictures taken the other week. This was one of the poses. She cooperated for the "formal" ones, but as soon as she got on her flip flops and spring pants, she did not want to look at the camera.

Decorating Easter Eggs

Kathryn had her first experience decorating Easter eggs. She had a short attention span though. She very quickly wanted to eat and go to sleep. Grandma K. took care of that while Tom and I and Grandpa K. finished decorating the eggs.

Totusheks at the Zoo

This is a picture of Kathryn's first visit to the MN zoo. She had a great time and "sang" the entire tropics trail. We think she was trying to sing back to the birds!

Technical Difficulties

Kathryn apologizes, but the computer is having technical difficulties and she is unable to post new pictures. She wants to share some photos with all of you of her trip to the doctor, the zoo and Easter. Please be patient...they are coming!

"We had a very sunny day last week and I NEEDED a pair of shades. My mom went out and bought these for me. What do you think? Now I have my flip flops and sun glasses. I am READY for summer!"
